Anton advises and acts in a wide range of disputes at trial and appellate level.
Appearing both led and unled, Anton has extensive advocacy experience in the Federal Court of Australia, the Supreme, District and Local Courts of New South Wales, the Family Court of Australia, and the New South Wales Court of Criminal Appeal. He has also appeared in the New South Wales Civil and Administrative Tribunal and the Social Security Appeals Tribunal.
Since coming to the Bar in 2013, Anton has advised and appeared for clients in a range of areas.
He holds a PhD in Patent Law, and his thesis analysed the complex issue of whether software should be patentable. Anton also holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from Deakin University in Melbourne and the University of Tasmania, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering, majoring in Computer Systems from the University of Queensland. Anton is the founder of Tiro, a practice management software system for barristers. His technological experience is bolstered by his previous career as a computer programmer and information systems manager at large corporations in Melbourne and Hobart.

Anton appears and advises in respect of commercial matters including consumer law, equity, retail lease and home building disputes, in a range of courts including the Federal Court, Supreme Court, District Court, Local Court and NCAT.In advising clients, Anton relies on a strong legal research foundation developed during his time as a legal academic.
